The Year of the Horse

Yes, the title of this picture says it all. Why you ask? Well, I just looked on my new calendar not too long ago. At the end of this month will be the Chinese New Year and this year will be the year of the horse, and I was born on the year of the horse. That made me felt like drawing a horse, with a couple of winter flowers since it is winter now. Like a rose, some snowdrops, and Woodland cyclamen. That was the first time I’ve ever heard about those flowers. This is also the first time in my life I’ve drawn a horse.

All my life, I was never too happy about being the year of a horse, but drawing this just made me happy to be born on the year of the horse.

This is done in pencil, and colored pencils.
